Derby is right around the corner, which means it’s time to freshen up on our bourbon badassery to impress family, friends and Derby guests this Derby season!
And who better to learn about the spirit of Kentucky than Kelly and Forest Ramsey, of Art Eatables, and Whisky Chick’s Linda Ruffenach in Art Eatables new Main Street store.
At this event, guests will enjoy a pairing of bourbons with Art Eatables’ signature bourbon truffles — learning about the different flavors in bourbon along the way — and we’ll enjoy bourbon cocktails and learn how to make ’em with the help of Ruffenach.
Art Eatables delicious confections as well as Ruffenach’s new book, “How to Be a Bourbon Badass,” will be available to purchase. In “How to Be a Bourbon Badass,” Ruffenach tells the story of her own personal journey with bourbon and shares behind-the-scenes tales from bourbon industry experts and rock stars. She captures the storied history of America’s native spirit, explains the process of making liquid gold and offers top-notch cocktail, dinner and dessert recipes for the novice and connoisseur alike.
ADMISSION: $15 per person, payable to Art Eatables for tasting supplies. All guests must be 21+.
