This Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, take off by foot, bike or canoe for the 27th Subway Fresh Fit Hike, Bike & Paddle!

There are several new additions to this year’s event – hikers will be heading across the Big Four Bridge to Indiana and back. All hikers are invited to extend their hike and enjoy their free day pass to Abbey Road on the River! Dogs are not permitted on the bridge, there will be a separate route for these individuals. As required by law, please keep your pets on a leash and clean up after them.

The 12.5 mile bike ride will be heading west through the Portland neighborhood to Shawnee Park and back to the Great Lawn. This closed course will include plenty of signage and bike captains to help cyclists obey the rules of the road.

The Louisville Kayak Company is offering kayak rentals before and at the event. Reserve your kayak today online. There will also be free Voyager Canoe rides along the Ohio until 1 p.m.

The event starts at 8 a.m. with fitness activities like: Zumba, tai chi, yoga, pickleball and even a rock climbing wall! Browse from more than 50 different vendor booths and make sure you pick up your free $2 Subway cash card when you visit their booth.

For all event information and route details, visit hikebikeandpaddle.org or give us a call at 502-574-3427. RSVP & share the event with your friends on Facebook!
