Owner Chris Williams said the new restaurant will open in mid-July at 10410 Watterson Trail, next to 3rd Turn Brewing. The approximately 1,600-square-foot space is owned by Trifecta Brewing LLC, the parent company of 3rd Turn Brewing, according to city records.
Four Pegs has existing locations at 1053 Goss Ave. and at 3rd Turn Oldham Gardens. Williams said the new space will be leased from 3rd Turn, which is overseeing the buildout.
The concept will be a bit different than before.
The Jeffersontown outpost will operate as a Texas-style carvery, with prime cuts of meat carved to order in front of customers — a format Williams said is uncommon in the local barbecue scene.
The opening is slated for mid-July.
