APRON Inc. was created in 2011 to help provide financial relief to food and beverage industry workers in the Louisville, Kentucky metropolitan area who find themselves in need during times of crises. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, APRON Inc. has stepped up with a far greater volume of assistance to local workers than ever before. The virus put APRON Inc. to the test, with close to $350,000 in grants awarded to more than 600 employees from over 180 restaurants during the past three years.

On Sunday, October 9 APRON Inc. celebrates its 11th birthday with 10 Taste Salute!, a gala to be held at The Café (711 Brent Street) in Paristown.
