Wikipedia has a brief profile: “Cinnaholic is an American cinnamon roll bakery franchise founded in 2010 in Berkeley, California. The company is known for its made-to-order, gourmet vegan cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats…all of Cinnaholic’s products are 100 percent vegan, dairy & lactose-free, egg-free and cholesterol-free.”
Cinnaholic Louisville is located at 4204 Shelbyville Rd. in St. Matthews. An information release provides further background.
(The franchise) is owned and operated by husband-and-wife duo Sean and Dion
Roberson, native Louisvillians who were first introduced to Cinnaholic in Atlanta. Dion, a lifelong cinnamon roll fan, discovered the brand there. After trying one of Cinnaholic’s cinnamon rolls, she knew she had to bring them to Louisville.
“Cinnamon rolls have always been my favorite dessert,” said Dion. “Trying Cinnaholic in Atlanta, I knew this was something special–something different. It’s fun, fresh and
completely you! We cannot wait to serve Louisville.”
