A new breakfast/brunch option is coming to New Albany this fall: Sleepy Rooster Morning Kitchen at 2204 State Street.
Sleepy Rooster Morning Kitchen is a new concept from the people behind La Catrina Mexican Kitchen (202 E. Elm), and by extension, Señor Iguanas (three metro area locations).
It looks like Extol Magazine got to this one first, and here’s the video.

La Catrina Mexican Kitchen Co-Owner & Chef Roza Segoviano joined us for Extol Live today and announced she and her husband Juan Segoviano will be opening a brunch-exclusive restaurant called The Sleepy Rooster in New Albany at the State Street location once home to Bob Evans. We are thrilled for the Segovianos and for those of us brunch lovers who have been seeking more local options in this corner of Southern Indiana.
