Craft House Pizza came about when erstwhile Hometown Pizza partner Tom Brown moved into craft beer, purchasing Cumberland Brews’ former production-scale brewery in 2019, installing it at his Preston Highway location, and placing this newly established Hometown Brewing Company’s house beers alongside the existing pizza, pasta, hoagies and strombolis.
And it was good.
The food menu was rebranded and expanded into Craft House Pizza, new locations came on line, and just to illustrate that the brewing operation was no gimmick, in 2022 Beer Connoisseur Magazine selected Foxbody 5.0 lager as #58 in its Top 10 ......
