Hip Hop Sweet Shop (1805 W. Jefferson St.) wants you to know that it will be closed temporarily for repairs and expansion, and slated for reopening on September 16. Hip Hop Sweet Shop will more than double its size with renovation Owner Lafesa Johnson said she is anticipating finishing the project and reopening Sept. 16. The shop, previously about 1,000 square feet, will total about 2,500 square feet after the renovation is done. Johnson said a unit next door, formerly an art studio, became available.
