Previously in March of 2024, F & D had a look at Michael L. Jones taking an exclusive glance in advance at YachtSea, a bar and eatery coming to Butchertown in the summer of ’24.
As of May 28, 2025, the new bar is open at 111 N. Wenzel in the Butcher(town) Block, and Jones returns with the story: YachtSea opens in Butchertown: “Despite the nautical theme, (co-owner J.C. Denison emphasized that YachtSea is not a seafood restaurant…the biggest thing—our sort of mission statement from day one—is that we want it to be fun. ”
