Kayrouz Cafe (3801 Willis Ave.) dates to the 1920s, and has been doing business in St. Matthews for 50 years.
In mid-December, owner Tyler Conway announced at Facebook that the cafe’s run will end on January 31. Regular business hours will continue until then.

Good morning folks! After 15 years under my ownership, Kayrouz Cafe will close January 31, 2026. It has been a pleasure serving this community. I’m so thankful to have had this opportunity to share my love of cooking with everyone.
I never would have imagined in 2005, when I started washing dishes that it would have lead me in a 20 year journey filled with so many spectacular moments. However, as we all know, all good things come to an end.
