Lucia’s Cafecito y Más replaces Drip N Dough in Cherokee Triangle
R.I.P., John Carlos White.
Lucia’s Cafecito y Mas has opened at 1433 Bardstown Road in Cherokee Triangle. In turn, this means that its predecessor Drip N Dough has closed at the same address.
This makes for slight confusion at Facebook, where Lucia’s has taken over DND’s old page, so until there is a complete update, here is Lucia’s link. There’s a dedicated page at Instagram: Lucia’s Cafecito y Mas.
Cafecito means “little coffee.” In Cuba, cafecito is a sweetened espresso shot topped with espuma (or espumita), a sugary foam. Lucia’s “coffee and more” summarizes it.
Expect specialty coffees, bagels, doughnuts, croissants and empañadas, although there is no mention of hot dogs (like DND’s shtick before).
