Those who frequent the downtown New Albany branch of Coffee Crossing have been able to watch the steady progress across the street at 145 E. Main St. as Platform Dining & Lounge prepares for its grand opening on Saturday, May 3.
Platform’s self-description: “Elevated soul food restaurant, bar, and lounge. Live music, comedy, karaoke.”
The menus and cover photo have resulted from the customary social media sleuthing, and there isn’t much more about it that I can report for the moment.
Note only that the new eatery faces City Hall to the south, and there is ample free parking between City Hall and the levee.
