The debut of Cipollini approaches, with a target date for opening during the first week of February. The address is 1606 Bardstown Rd. in Deer Park, a space formerly occupied by LouVino.

Cipollini’s principals are chef Dallas “The Fat Lamb” McGarity and Tarek Hamada, former general manager at Grassa Gramma, with a food and dining CV that includes Le Moo and Anoosh Bistro.
We’re expecting Italian cuisine, which seems appropriate given the meaning of cipollini: “little onions,” pronounced chip-oh-LEE-nee, as taken from cipolla, the Italian word for onion.
