Mixmix Cafe opened in April at 2240 Taylorsville Rd., in the Highlands Douglass neighborhood.
It’s the same address as My Tindahan, a Filipino grocery store. We’re assuming they’re jointly operated.
Mixmix has the coffee drinks and matchas. Menu items include sandwiches, waffles and croffle (a croissant and waffle mashup).
And halo-halo? That’s a Filipino shaved ice dessert. It means “mix-mix,” hence the cafe’s name.
Current hours of operation:
Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
